Olivia’s path in immigration law is shaped by a truly international perspective and a commitment to understanding every facet of the field. She began her legal career in Spain, earning her Law Degree from the University of Malaga. Driven by curiosity about the global legal landscape, she went on to complete a Master’s in International Trade and Economic Relations at the European University of Madrid, broadening her understanding of how law and economics intersect across borders.
After relocating to the United States, Olivia deepened her expertise in immigration matters through an internship at the Spanish Consulate in Miami. There, she helped U.S.-based clients navigate Spain’s complex legal system, gaining valuable insight into consular processes and the unique challenges faced by people moving between countries. This experience reinforced her interest in immigration law and inspired her to focus her career on helping others through similar transitions.
Recognizing the importance of bridging academic knowledge with practical skills, Olivia completed the Paralegal Program at the University of Miami while working at well-known immigration law firms.. This combination of classroom learning and real-world experience allowed her to develop a well-rounded perspective on U.S. immigration law.
Determined to further her expertise and practice law in the U.S., Olivia pursued and completed an LL.M. in U.S. Law at Florida Coastal School of Law. After earning this advanced degree, she took the next step in her career by gaining admission to the California State Bar—a clear reflection of her dedication and commitment. Olivia is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the California Lawyers Association (CLA), which enables her to stay current with the latest developments in immigration law.
